Now this is good news for Singaporean. Finally we see some attraction giving discount… Hopefully, this will run long term like in some countries that give a better rates for their own citizens.
Month back, Sentosa announced that they will offer free entry at a certain time of the day until the end of the year. Well, Sentosa push in more discounts to celebrate SG50. The Wings of Time night show at Siloso Beach is offering free entry on Aug 7 and cable car rides from HarbourFront to Sentosa will be free on Aug 10. You can see all the promotions Here
What’s more, other attractions have also joined in and are either waiving their entry fee completely or offering massive discounts either around National Day or in the weeks leading up to it.
Wildlife Reserves is rolling out a whole bunch of SG50 discounts and souvenirs, like a free animal-themed tote bag for visits between Aug 7-10, 2015 (if you like that sort of thing) and it’s also shaving 50% off admission to the Jurong Bird Park for the month of August. Plus, from now until Jul 31, 2015, every ticket to the Night Safari or Singapore Zoo will get you a 50% discount to River Safari, for same day visits. You can read more Here.
Other attractions also offering massive discounts over the long jubilee weekend include the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest at Gardens by The Bay (50% off all tickets for Singaporeans) and it’s free entry to The National Orchid Garden at Singapore Botanic Gardens.
